In Your Neck, Shoulders & Back?
Why prolong the agony when you can start your road to recovery today? At Physiokit, our dedicated team works to provide you with a comprehensive solution to acute musculoskeletal problems and prevention. Our physiotherapists can help restore aching, stiff and dysfunctional muscles and joints back to optimum health. Every journey with us consists of initial consultation, diagnosis and treatment.
Neck and Back Pain
Due to our sedentary lifestyles today, many complain of back pain, shoulder pain, and neck strains thanks to the over-the-clock work schedule. People who need to sit in front of computer screens for long hours normally hold their neck and head forward while working at a computer or cradling a phone to their ear. This can lead to strains in the cervical vertebrae along with permanent imbalances, which can lead to neck strain, sore shoulders and back.
There are times when we may not be able to gauge the extent of damage that some pain or injury has caused to our body. This is the danger of self-diagnosis and delaying proper treatment. A session with us with Physiokit would include consultation, assessment and a customised treatment program.

Our physiotherapist will conduct tests to help understand the root of the problem.

HOW IS THE FIRST SESSION LIKE?
The first session is a one hour consultation. We will listen to your concerns, health history and ask some relevant questions. We will then take a physical examination, looking at posture and movements of the whole body and give a detailed explanation of what is happening to cause your pain. This diagnostic analysis would give you a better breakdown of the root cause of the problem. You will then receive treatment, if appropriate. We usually also give recommended exercises and sound advice for injured athletes and individuals. There may be a few cases where will have to refer you to another type of practitioner or for a scan if necessary.
